Brazilian studies focusing on geomorphological heritage are relevant due to the unique characteristics of this category of heritage, among which its scenic and dynamic dimensions and its different scales stand out. Therefore, it becomes relevant to analyse the overview and the methods used in publications in this field in Brazil. The aim of this paper was to provide an overview of the main characteristics of research on geomorphological heritage in Brazil, focusing on the inventory and evaluation methods of geomorphosites. To this end, a literature review was conducted in databases of peer-reviewed scientific papers, theses, and dissertations retrieved from national databases, taking into account the following words in the title: "site of geomorphological interest," "geomorphological heritage," and "geomorphosite." As a result, 30 works published between 2013 and 2022 were analysed, including 14 papers, 12 dissertations, and 4 theses. The results show a gradual increase in research activity, mainly concentrated in the northeast and southeast regions. The methods used by the authors were mainly specific to the study of geomorphological heritage, and many of them used existing methods.
