The exhumation of Brasiliano granites in the Borborema Province, with different dimensions, shape and nature, has revealed a diversified geomorphological sample. Among these batholiths, the Chaval Granite stands out, located in the Middle Coreaú Subdomain (NW Sector of the State of Ceará), constituting a field of inselbergs in an estuarine environment, partially covered by Cenozoic sediments in its surroundings. The present work aims to present a morphological description of the macro and micro forms related to the Chaval Granite, as well as to contribute with a morphogenetic interpretation based on the Cretaceous and Post-Cretaceous tectonic events, the eustatic variations and the lithostructural role of the batholith in the formation of features such as domic inselbergs, gnammas, flared slopes, karrens and boulders.
